W środę 17.05.2023 r. kilkudziesięciu przedsiębiorców z Żar i okolic wzięło udział w spotkaniu „Business & Breakfast” , które zorganizowaliśmy wspólnie z Departamentem Rozwoju i Innowacji Urzędu Marszałkowskiego w folwarku zamkowym.
Jako gospodarz, spotkanie rozpoczął Patryk Faliński – Wiceburmistrz Miasta Żary, który omówił realizowany przez miasto projekt “Żary, tu chcę żyć!!! finansowany z funduszy norweskich od przygotowania projektu do realizacji. Szczególną uwagę skupił na sztandarowych działaniach projektu, takich jak:
– Innowacyjny system monitorowania i analizy jakości powietrza,
– Adaptacja ruin zamku na Centrum Kultury i Tradycji,
– Budowa drogi wraz ze ścieżką rowerową od ul. Kilińskiego do ul. Wapiennej oraz kładki pieszo – rowerowej nad drogą krajową nr 12 przy Strefie Przemysłowej Lotnisko w Żarach.
Nie zabrakło również tematu o współpracy z urzędem marszałkowskim i projektów realizowanych przez miasto w ramach pozyskanych funduszy unijnych, o których mówiła Danuta Madej – Burmistrz Miasta Żary.
W kolejnej części spotkania Edyta Płanka – Dyrektor Rozwoju Regionu, Banku Gospodarstwa Krajowego zaprezentowała możliwości skorzystania z oferty banku przez przedsiębiorców, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem środków na innowacje ekologiczne i technologiczne.
Głos zabrał również Łukasz Pabierowski, zastępca dyrektora Departamentu Rozwoju i Innowacji Urzędu Marszałkowskiego Województwa Lubuskiego, który mówił o działalności samorządu województwa w zakresie innowacji i przedsiębiorczości oraz o działaniach w zakresie promocji lubuskiej gospodarki.
Spotkanie było również okazją do wymiany doświadczeń i wiedzy w sprawach ważnych dla rozwoju lokalnych firm i miasta, a także nawiązywania nowych realizacji biznesowych.

Title: Meeting with entrepreneurs “Business & Breakfast”
On Wednesday, 17/05/ 2023, several dozen entrepreneurs from Żary and the surrounding area took part in the “Business & Breakfast” meeting organized by us and the Department of Development and Innovation of the Marshal’s Office in the Castle Farm (Folwark Zamkowy).
The meeting was started by the host: Mr Patryk Faliński – Deputy Mayor of Żary, who discussed “Żary, I want to live here!!!” project as implemented by the town and financed from Norway grants from its preparation to implementation. He focused primarily on the flagship activities of the project, such as:
– An innovative air quality monitoring and analysis system,
– Adaptation of the ruins of the castle into the Center of Culture and Tradition,
– Construction of the road with a bicycle path from Kilińskiego to Wapienna streets and a pedestrian and bicycle footbridge over the national road No. 12 at the “Lotnisko” Industrial Zone in Żary”.
The topic of cooperation with the Marshal’s Office and projects implemented by the town as part of the EU funds obtained was also brought up and discussed by Ms Danuta Madej – the Mayoress of Żary.
In the next part of the meeting, Ms Edyta Płanka – Director of Regional Development of Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego, presented the bank’s offer for entrepreneurs, with particular emphasis on funds for ecological and technological innovations.
Mr Łukasz Pabierowski, deputy director of the Development and Innovation Department of the Marshal’s Office of the Lubusz Voivodeship, also spoke about the activities of the voivodship’s self-government in the field of innovation and entrepreneurship as well as those in the field of promoting the Lubusz economy.
The meeting was also an opportunity to exchange experiences and knowledge on matters important for the development of local companies and the town, as well as to establish new business projects.
