Mamy dla Was małe podsumowanie dotychczasowych prac:
– zakończono prace programistyczne związane z przechwytywaniem i zapisywaniem danych z urządzeń pomiarowych,
– zainstalowano 3 stacje bazowe na terenie Szkół Podstawowych nr 1, 2 i 10 w Żarach, które będą odpowiedzialne za przechwytywanie danych z czujników i przesłanie ich drogą radiową do bazy danych,
– w Szkole Podstawowej nr 1 i 2 umieszczono również stacje pogodowe, które wraz z trzecią stacją – która zostanie zainstalowana przy Szkole Podstawowej nr 8 – pozwolą na badanie warunków atmosferycznych w całym mieście,
– zainstalowano urządzenie referencyjne na terenie Szkoły Podstawowej nr 8 w Żarach,
– zainstalowano pozostałe czujniki oraz ostatnie stacje pogodowe i bazowe, co pozwoli na stworzenie modelu matematycznego określającego faktyczny poziom zanieczyszczenia powietrza w Żarach i stworzenie aplikacji do wizualizacji tych pomiarów.
Dzięki aplikacji każdy mieszkaniec w czasie rzeczywistym będzie miał dostęp do informacji o jakości powietrza na terenie Żar. Sprawdzając aktualny stan, będzie mógł efektywnie zaplanować swoje aktywności poza domem.

Air quality monitoring system
Many of you may be curious about how the works on creating the air quality monitoring system are progressing, so here is the small summary of what has been achieved so far:
– programming work related to capturing and saving data from measuring devices was completed.
– 3 base stations were installed in Primary Schools No. 1, 2 and 10 in Żary, which will be responsible for retrieving data from sensors and sending them via radio to the database;
– weather stations have also been located at Primary Schools No. 1 and 2, which together with the third station – which will be installed at Primary School No. 8 – will allow for monitoring weather conditions throughout the town;
– a reference device was installed at Primary School No. 8 in Żary;
– other sensors and the last weather and base stations were installed, which shall facilitate the creation of a mathematical model determining the actual level of air pollution in Żary and the development of an application to visualize these measurements.
Thanks to the application, each resident will have access to real time information about air quality in Żary. By checking the current status, they will be able to effectively plan their activities outside.
